Celtic Cottages are self catering holiday homes & cottages in Rosscarbery, West Cork, consisting of 12 traditional cottages, situated below the main square of Rosscarbery, and nine bay-view houses overlooking the town with magnificent views of the bay. Rosscarbery is a small historic town, set in picturesque surroundings overlooking a sandy inlet of the rugged West Cork coastline. The town grew up around a monastery, which was established by St. Fachtna in the latter half of the sixth century. It is now a peaceful place with an attractive square, and nicely decorated buildings with traditional shop fronts.

For those who just want to relax, there are several Blue Flag beaches a short distance from the cottages, namely the Warren Beach only 2km away. Also nearby are Ownahincha, Inchydoney and several more strands and coves to explore and offer safe bathing and golden sands.
Megalithic tombs, stone circles and standing stones can be found in the area—Drombeg being the most famous. For the historian, there are many place to visit: St. Fachtna's Cathedral, Castlefreke, Coppinger's Court and the birthplaces of Michael Collins and O' Donovan Rossa, to name a few.
