Where are the holiday homes?
The Bay View Houses are on a hill, Ceim Hill, overlooking the village. The Traditional Cottages are in the village of Rosscarbery.
Is there wifi in the holiday homes?
The Traditional Cottages have complimentary WiFi. The Bay View Houses do not have WiFi; the mobile data coverage there is very good.
Are there extra charges to the rental cost?
Yes, electricity is paid per usage and is payable on departure. Towel hire is optional; you may bring your own towels or hire them for €5pp.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, strictly no pets allowed. We can provide details of local dog kennels if needed.
Is there an open fire?
Yes in both house types, fire stuff can be purchased locally.
How far are the holiday homes from the Celtic Ross Hotel?
The Bay View Houses are approx. 10min walk away, takes a bit longer walking back up the hill! The Traditional Cottages are approx. 5min walk to the hotel.
Can we use the pool in the local hotel?
Yes, Celtic Cottages guests can avail of discounted rates at the leisure centre in the Celtic Ross Hotel. You pay directly to the hotel, no need to be pre-booked.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes, we provide all bed linen, duvet, pillows, covers and sheets. Towel hire is optional, you may bring your own or request towels at an extra cost.
Are cots provided? Is there a charge?
Yes we can provide, free of charge, travel cots, high chairs and stair gates. All are subject to availability and must be requested at booking.
